Thank you for your interest in Zootown Music Festival, taking place July 4th & 5th, 2025 at the Missoula Fairgrounds in Missoula, MT.
To apply for a MEDIA or PHOTO wristband, please read the guidelines below and fill out the Official Application Form. It's important to remember this is only a request, and it may not be approved.
Applications are one per person and should only be filled out for those attending. Please do not fill out an application for your outlet if you are not planning to attend.
APPLICATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY March 31, 2025. We cannot review or consider applications received after this date.
You will be NOTIFIED OF YOUR APPLICATION'S STATUS by April 15, 2025.
In order to be considered for a MEDIA or PHOTO wristband, you MUST BE ON ASSIGNMENT with coverage secured. Every assignment will be verified with an editor.
Please note: The MEDIA wristband offers 2-Day access into the festival. The PHOTO wristband offers 2-Day access into the festival and the photo pits at the combined discretion of Zootown and each performer. If you are granted a PHOTO wristband, you do not need a MEDIA wristband.

PRINT MEDIA AND FREELANCE: All attending media MUST be on assignment with coverage secured. We will be contacting your editor to confirm your assignment upon submitting your application.
PHOTOGRAPHY: PHOTOGRAPHERS ON ASSIGNMENT: Photo credentials are very limited. Any photographer wishing to apply for a PHOTO wristband must be on an editorial assignment. We will only credential photographers with professional cameras. Point-and-shoot cameras will not be permitted in the photo pits, a policy enforced by security. Please do not apply if you do not have a confirmed assignment. We are also not able to offer a spot on our house photography team.
RADIO or COLLEGE PAPER PHOTOGRAPHERS: Photo wristbands for radio and college photographers are limited. Recording of performances is prohibited.
PORTFOLIO WORK: Requests for credentials for personal portfolios will not be approved. We are only able to consider photographers who are on confirmed editorial assignments.
SOCIAL MEDIA: Requests for credentials for social media content only will not be approved.
RADIO STATIONS: Please be as specific as possible about your coverage plans.
FILMING: FILMING IS NOT ALLOWED without direct pre-approval from the festival PR team prior to the festival. Of those approved, video camera use is restricted, with on-site escort provided from the festival. You will be required to request escort time in advance of the festival. Filming of performances is prohibited.
